Don’t even get me started on the executive I used to work for who’s wife breeds horses and trains them to do dressage (spelling?). The first time he showed me one of his wife’s dressage video competitions I said to him, “I don’t even want to know what your wife does to those horses in order to get them to do that!” Naturally I had to find out and nearly threw up. How awful. Jesus effing Christ the human mind is limitless when it pertains to cooking up ways of torturing animals. Ack!
Thats just the beginning of their hell. I watched too many videos of them going to slaughter it’s very hard to watch. We have a woman in the area that was running a sanctuary for horses, people were donating money and she was associated with the humane society, and she was selling the horses to go to slaughter in Canada, she’s out on bail right now waiting to go to trial for fraud, and she’s hiding, people despise her, if they see her they attack and threatened her life, and yet she still doesn’t think she did anything wrong.
Susan, unfortunately yes, and I feel extremely bad for the people that surrendered there horses, because they couldn’t afford to keep, and she told them she was going to find them the perfect home, they are devastated. I hope they never see these undercover films. Now there’s a woman that does a beautiful job, but she has to be out by Sunday, because the owner sold the place two months ago and never told her, and the new owners don’t want to rent it out, she takes in everything, horses, dogs, cats, guinea pigs. It made it on the news so hopefully things will work out, there’s a lot of good people out there to help, even though we don’t think so because of greedy bitches like her. I just hope when she goes to jail and I know she will, that there are people in there that despise her kind, as bad as they despise child molesters and make her life a living hell !!!

And I agree, I hope she receives her comeuppance! What a bitch.
It is heartbreaking to see what is happening to the foot prints of our country, the horse has contributed so much and withstood so much , and this is how we repay them, it’s just aweful
Seems that the human species is getting more diabolical or is it because we are more aware of the atrocities-you know the alternate media has allowed us horrific glimpses. I think the human species is unable to lift above it’s dark pervasive aura.

Horses are so aware of their surroundings, and hard to kill–they are going to react to a slaughterhouse with sheer panic.
