“Two people were arrested for allegedly interfering with a
state-sanctioned deer hunt in the Blue Hills Reservation on Tuesday,
the Norfolk district attorney’s office said.
“Erin Dart, 29, and Jonathan DiNapoli, 33, were making noise to
distract hunters, said David Traub, spokesman for Norfolk District

  1. Well, so much for the notion of multi-use on public lands. The comments to the Globe article are interesting in that the pro-hunting contingent believe that non-hunters should just stay out of the woods during the four-day hunt. So then, what is the solution in western states where hunting seasons run into months, if not the whole year? Shall we just define ‘multi-use’ as “public lands grazing, and hunting, with occasional illegal agricultural operations?”
