A female hunter has been found dead after apparently committing suicide weeks after she was reportedly threatened on social media by animal rights activists.

Hunting magazine Jara y Sedal reported Melania, who was from Catalonia and had lived for the last three years in Huesca, had apparently killed herself.

Even after her death, her Facebook profile was inundated with messages praising the tragic news.

One person wrote: ‘You have done a favour to humanity! Bye Bye.’

Another commented: ‘She is alive, do not worry, what happened is that she left hunting and now is in the casting of the series The Walking Dead.’

  1. What this woman did was disgusting, she got her kicks from killing animals and bragging about it – she was a psychopath. As sad as this is for her family and friends, I can offer no sympathy.
    She should have chosen the compassionate path in life.

  2. Yes, another example of irresponsible journalism. It blames animal rights activists, but further down in the body of the article it says her family and friends say that was not the cause, that she was having other problems. Do they write articles about how many environmentalists and animal rights activists, and park rangers are murdered throughout the world?

    But why is it that nobody questions the mental state of a serial killer of animals who collects their body parts as trophies, but only when she threatens the sanctity of demigod</strike human life, in this case her own?
